    2. Why you should focus on leveraging what you currently have
    3. The power of putting together a list of what you need to articulate
How to avoid overlooking your relevant experience.
Avoid overlooking your relevant experience by recognising that you have lots of skills and experience. You have also developed a body of work that demonstrates how hard you work. If you can’t first identify and then articulate your achievements, then it will be that much harder for a company to say ‘YES’ to you for that dream role.
Why you should focus on leveraging what you currently have.
During the job search process, focus on what you currently haveExamine your career history and identify key areas of your experience and skill set. When you prepare your application or for an interview, dig deep about some of your accomplishments that you might not have considered as worth telling before. These are the golden nuggets you want to bring to the surface.
The power of putting together a list of what you need to articulate.
Don’t doubt your abilities, put together a list of what you need to articulate after you have gone through your discovery process. It’s essential you write these out because it will be that much easier when you’re discussing them with the hiring manager and/or team. The company or organisation has determined they need someone to fill a gap or function within their team or department. It’s up to you to demonstrate that you can deliver your expertise to this company or organisation.
