In this episode, I have a delightful conversation with Yewande Faloyin about following your intuition and what it looks like to go through multiple career changes. If you are at a career crossroads you do not want to miss this interview.

What you will learn in this episode:

  • How to be driven by passion
  • The power of investing m in yourself
  • How to be confident with exploring different career options

Career changes are really difficult but if you want something bad enough, you have to be driven by passion to go for it. When we make a decision for the path we take sometimes we don’t know what to expect. But, having the ability to discover your likes and dislikes can be fun.

Yewande transitioned into other roles and was quite overwhelmed with the possibility. While receiving a couple of rejections she went through a what she calls a “spiral of doom.” Nonetheless, Yewande flourished and began investing in herself. Start observing what other people are doing, ask questions about projects they’re working on or even having informational interviews with a manager from another team.

While it can be scary to explore different things, it doesn’t have to be that way. I want you to feel confident just as Yewande did when she started his coaching business. If you have a close friend or family member who you consider part of your support system, use that to your advantage. It can help you along your journey.
