In this episode, I discuss why you absolutely have what it takes to make a career change.

This comes up a lot when I am speaking to those wanting to make a career move – they wonder if it’s even possible for them.

They’re unsure if they can make it happen and if it’s something they should even be considering.

What I know from experience is that you CAN make a career change, and if you take the action that is required to make this happen, you will be amazed by what you can achieve.

Not only do I know that you can make it happen, I also know what can hold people back.

I cover a couple of these things in this episode and how you can move forward.

What you will learn:

  • How people pleasing may be holding you back
  • The importance of making a decision
  • Why you need to take time to think about what you DO want to do

How people pleasing may be holding you back – are you showing up just to please your senior bosses and teammates? You’re performing and executing but behind closed doors, you’re wondering ‘is this it?’ It can get to the place where you’re more worried about what other people think than what YOU think and want.

The importance of making a decision – this is the number one thing to conquer. Everything else will follow after you have made the decision that you are going to make a career move.

Why you need to take time to think about what you DO want to do – you need to dig deep enough to discover what is making you feel unhappy in your current role. Once you have this data, you can then make the decision on what you can do that you’ll love.
